On Friday, March 11, 2011, at the Academy of Music, guests walked
down the red carpet with the stars of the Pennsylvania Ballet. They also had the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind items like the chance to watch a performance from the wings, or a walk-on role in “George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker.” Cocktails and a silent auction in the Academy’s exquisite ballroom were followed by dinner on stage with the dancers.
