On Friday, September 23, 2011, The Sofitel Hotel Philadelphia and Evoluer Image Consultants proudly held an exclusive screening of of the highly anticipated documentary The Tents. In addition to the screening, guests enjoyed a fashionable cocktail party and a Q&A with executive producers and director Marcus K. Jones and James Belzer. Guests included Justiin A. Davis of Boardwalk Empire, designers Malan Breton and Kristin Haskins Simms of Project Runway, the Premier of Bermuda, and Sarah Dash of the LaBelle group. The event was part of The Philadelphia Collection 2011 and proceeds went to the Evoluer House, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk girls. On Thursday, September 22, 2011, trendsetters packed the Comcast Center for the Seventh Annual Rittenhouse Row Fall Gathering. Infiniti, the exclusive vehicle of Rittenhouse Row, showcased the M and QX as guests entered. Wilhelmina Philadelphia models and familiar Rittenhouse faces, wearing looks from the area's most stylish boutiques with hair and makeup by Sephora, strutted down the runway during the fashion show emceed by Philadelphia magazine’s Fashion and Lifestyle Editors Carrie Denny and Emily Goulet, as Rittenhouse Row's talented bartenders mixed this season's newest cocktails. On Friday, September 16, 2011, guests and friends of Blackney Hayes Architects and James Oliver Gallery gathered for the second show at the JOG Annex at the Blackney Hayes Architects office. The event featured work by Antonia Cianfrani, Dolorres Poacelli, and Ryan Beck. On Saturday, September 16, 2011, Gilda's Club South Jersey held a sellout luncheon at The Palm Restaurant in Atlantic City. Several contributors were honored for their dedication and support to the non-profit group. This year, with the generous donation of Palm Restaurant's full-service hosting, Gilda's rose a record-breaking $75,000+ for their cause. The club provides places for people with cancer and their families and friends to socialize and give emotional support to one another.
