The Philadelphia Collection 2010 is a series of fashion and style events that will take place throughout the city from September 23 to October 2, 2010. The fashion series is designed to promote the city and all aspects of its fashion economy, including its impressive “collection” of retailers, boutiques, stylists, designers, modeling agencies, design schools and fashion/design students. Events are independently produced by local producers and retailers and will include fashion shows, trunk shows, lectures, movies, live music and more. The Feastival Sponsor Appreciation Party was held on Monday, August 16th at Twenty Manning Grill, 261 South 20th Street. Owner Audrey Claire Taichman, is one of the hosts of the Feastival, along with Stephen Starr and Michael Solomonov. On Monday, August 16th, Philadelphia Phillies stars, their wives, and other celebrities stepped on to the catwalk at the Union League to raise funds for the Shane Victorino Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes opportunities for underprivileged youth in Philadelphia and Hawaii by engaging in projects which provide children with educational, recreational and wellness programs. On August 12th, Harvey and Maddy Rovinsky, owners of Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelers, and friends celebrated the gilded treasures of master goldsmith GURHAN at a private soiree in the beautiful Longport, N.J. home of Ron and Joan Leff. On August 11th, Harvey and Maddy Rovinsky, owners of Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelers, and hosts Gary and Nancy Veloric celebrated summer elegance with an exclusive preview of the Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry Collection. Ivanka Trump herself was in attendance at the Veloric’s home in Margate, NJ to show her iconic and unique jewelry designs. Her designs featured her signature ovals, tassels, and deco-inspired diamonds from the Classic Collection, as well as a mix of black onyx, white agate and mother of pearl pieces from the new 2010 Collection. The Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry Collection will be sold exclusively at Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelry in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area. A portion of the purchases were donated to the Shane Victorino Foundation benefiting educational and recreational programs for underprivileged youth.
