On Saturday, April 4, 2009 The Friends of Curtis hosted the "Cool. Classic. Curtis." benefit at The Curtis Institute of Music, where cocktails, dinner, and a live auction where held, and at six different homes on Rittenhouse Square, where after-dinner drinks, dessert, and musicals performances by Curtis students were held. On Thursday, April 2, 2009, about 162 people attended the All About Art Patrons' Preview Party at Moss Rehab, held at Einstein at Elkins Park. The art of professional artists with disabilities was exhibited and for sale at the party. Guests also enjoyed a catered dinner and cocktails. Running until June 21st, the art show is open to the public every day from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
