On Saturday, May 9, 2009, The Wellness Community Of Philadelphia held its 11th Annual “Evening In The Park” awards ceremony and celebration at The Suzanne Morgan Center in Fairmount Park. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, music, and the presentation of awards to various community members. The event brought out 260 guests and raised $265,000 for the organization. In honor of the Go Red For Women movement, three Philadelphia University design students were given internships from places like Oscar de la Renta and Urban Outfitters for their winning red dress designs.
