On Thursday, July 23, 2009, Infiniti hosted a Rittenhouse Row Summer Member Mixer to celebrate the launch of the new Infiniti G Convertible. On Thursday, July 2, 2009, Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelers hosted a Back to the Beach Bash at the Chelsea Hotel to celebrate the 4th of July and to kick off their summer-long Trunk Show program. Guests enjoyed Bacardi summer cocktails, retro-inspired hors d’oeuvres, and cigars, along with live music and a synchronized swimming show. Photography by Paul Loftland.
 
On Tuesday, June 30, 2009, Max Brenner, Chocolate by the Bald Man, held its VIP Opening Party. Guests enjoyed super-sweet cocktails, including the Classic Truffle Chocolate Martini, the Sgt. Peppermint Chocolate Martini, and the Watermelon Mojito. They also sampled a menu of waffle fries dusted with chili and cocoa powder, chocolate pizza, warm chocolate soup, and chocolate cake. On Monday, June 29, 2009, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society held its 5th annual Chefs' Dinner for PAWS at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at Penns Landing. On Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, 2009, the 20th Annual Manayunk Arts Festival took place on Main Street.
