On September 24, 2009 The Public House in Philadelphia. Action News Channel 6 ABC's meteorologist Erica Grow emceed the auction of Philly's finest singles. The evening included an open bar, dancing and food. All proceeds went to St. Vincent de Paul to help those in need of food, or shelter.

On Wednesday, September 23, 2009, the Young Professional Association of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF) hosted their inaugural event at Rembrandt’s Restaurant. A portion of the proceeds, $1 for each drink purchased during the Happy Hour event, went directly to ALSF.

On Wednesday, September 23, 2009, Project H.O.M.E celebrated their 20th anniversary by honoring Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation founder, Jon Bon Jovi.
