On Friday, February 1, 2008, the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation hosted the premiere of the 2008 Philadelphia International Auto Show. Over 4,000 tickets were sold. Proceeds benefited Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation’s $2-million pledge for construction and maintenance of its Patient Welcome Center in the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

On Saturday, January 19, 2008, City Fitness opened its doors to neighbors and friends for a day of fun and fitness. Guests of all ages learned how to maintain healthy and happy lifestyles by incorporating fitness, nutrition and wellness into their daily routines. Activities included massages by Triune and Riverside Rehab and healthy cooking demonstrations by Kildare’s and Las Cazuelas, among many others. Guest host Blaire Galaton of Q102’s "The Booker Show" mingled with guests and even enjoyed a rub-down courtesy of My Touch of Healing.

On Thursday, January 17th, Philadelphia magazine celebrated the NEXT generation of the region's leaders at our People to Watch party. The event, held at Rae, also kicked off Philly Mag's 100th-anniversary year of celebration.

On Saturday, January 12th, supporters of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer turned out for an evening of cocktails, dinner and entertainment for the 2nd annual Lemon Ball. Proceeds went to research for pediatric cancer.
