On Thursday, February 14, 2008, the Philadelphia Museum of Art celebrated the first major exhibition in the United States devoted to Frida Kahlos works in more than 15 years. More than 500 guests enjoyed a cocktail reception and an open preview of the exhibition.

On Wednesday, February 13, 2008, the National Constitution Center celebrated the opening of Baseball As America, an exhibition examining the relationship between baseball and American culture. Sixty guests mingled with baseball Hall of Famers Robin Roberts, Brooks Robinson and Ferguson Jenkins and previewed the exhibit, which features artifacts from baseballs early roots in the 19th century to today.

On Monday, February 11, 2008, InterAct Theatre Company celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. The gala told the "InterAct Story" by honoring the 20 most influential people in InterAct's history, while featuring scenes and images from InterAct's most memorable productions.

On Sunday, February 10, 2008, WHYY President and CEO Bill Marrazzo and his wife, Randi, held their annual Valentine's Soiree at his home in West Mount Airy for WHYY contributors. This year's theme was "All you need is love" and guests were invited to wear red.
