On Monday, April 28, 2008, the Philadelphia Area Lincoln Mercury Dealer Association and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition hosted the annual Teal Magnolias Fashion Show in the Cherry Hill Crowne Plaza Hotel. On Wednesday, April 2, 2008, the Young Advocates for Mural Arts (YAMA) held a benefit concert for the Mural Arts Program. The event, "My Murals, My Music, My Philadelphia," was held at Johnny Brenda's and sponsored by Memphis Flats. Local bands No Outlet, The Old Souls, Jotto and DJ Jon Gill performed.
