The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall lent a royal air to the blockbuster 150th Academy Ball on Saturday, January 27th, which raised nearly $12 million for the Academy and the Orchestra.

The Delaware Valley Volvo Dealers were the presenting sponsors of the Lemon Ball on Saturday, January 20th. The dealers also donated a new Volvo S80, which wasauctioned off during the event. Proceeds will benefit the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

More than 800 people sampled great local cuisine on Wednesday, January 17th, at Philadelphia magazine's annual chef competition, held this year at Turbine Hall in Chester. The event raised more than $17,500 for beneficiary MANNA.
