The Philadelphia Film Festival honored its 2007 American Independents Award winner, actor Dermot Mulroney, at a reception at Two Liberty Place on Saturday, April 14th.

The Gift of Life Donor Program, serving the eastern half of Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware, held its fifth annual fund-raiser on Thursday, April 12th, at the Westin Philadelphia.

Local political reform group Philadelphia Forward held its second annual awards event, "You Can Fight City Hall," at the Legendary Blue Horizon boxing venue on Thursday, April 12th.
