On June 5th, the Art Museum served as the backdrop for a different kind of fine art: 24 collector cars on the museum’s East Terrace, matched with eight modern classics from Jaguar and Land Rover. Proceeds from the event benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia.

On June 7, the University of Pennsylvania Law School honored alumnus Howard Gittis ('58) for his $5 million gift by renaming a building Gittis Hall during a ribbon-cutting ceremony. A gala dinner followed at Le Bec-Fin.

On June 8th, the Philadelphia Zoo's 32nd annual Zoobilee, benefiting the zoo's 1,500 animals and its award-winning Junior Zoo Apprentice Program, celebrated the opening of the fabulous Big Cat Falls habitat.

The Young Friends of the Community Coalition held a benefit on Thursday, May 18th, aboard the Forbes’ yacht, the Highlande, to raise money for the innovative Phoenixville-based group.

The Independence Seaport Museum played host to a benefit for the world-renowned Rock School on Friday, May 12th.
