Created by the man behind Dylan's Candy Bar and F.A.O. Schweetz, the sweetest new shop at The Pier at Caesars held its official launch party on Friday, July 28th. The event was hosted by Gilda's Club, a free cancer support network.

More than 600 guests attended the Mann Center's 30th anniversary gala on Wednesday, June 28th, enjoying a spectacular party and a concert by the Philadelphia Orchestra, featuring guest soloist Yo-Yo Ma. Proceeds benefit the center's programming and community outreach.

On June 5th, the Art Museum served as the backdrop for a different kind of fine art: 24 collector cars on the museum’s East Terrace, matched with eight modern classics from Jaguar and Land Rover. Proceeds from the event benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia.

On June 7, the University of Pennsylvania Law School honored alumnus Howard Gittis ('58) for his $5 million gift by renaming a building Gittis Hall during a ribbon-cutting ceremony. A gala dinner followed at Le Bec-Fin.

On June 8th, the Philadelphia Zoo's 32nd annual Zoobilee, benefiting the zoo's 1,500 animals and its award-winning Junior Zoo Apprentice Program, celebrated the opening of the fabulous Big Cat Falls habitat.
