On Saturday, July 2 a Live 8 after party was held at the Kimmel Center. The party featured Stevie Wonder, who arrived and performed for the party goers. WDAS radio station came to the party as the event's media sponser. Over all about 500 people attended the party. Guest's included news anchors, Renee Chanault-Fattah, Monique Braxton, and Monica Robinson(NBC 10) and Rick Williams and Monica Malpass (ABC 6). Also in attendance, WDAS radio personality Dave Sanborn. A portion of the proceeds from the night helped to support the Men United For A Better Philadelphia.

On Saturday July 30th guests elegantly dressed in white made their way up the red carpet onto the deck of the historical 4 masted sailing ship aka: Moshulu. There they enjoyed free drinks and hors d'oeuvres while enjoying the sounds of a caribbean band followed by DJ Kam. Another treat was the free hair and make up show featuring creative stylists and a fashion show highlighting the hottest trends. Special guest comedian Denny Live was set to perform as well. All proceeds were donated directly to the HIV/AIDS awareness programs through Philadelphia FIGHT.
