The Young Friends of the Philadelphia Museum of Art held its annual Winter Gala on February 19, 2005. The gala celebrated the Salvadore Dali exhibition. Proceeds supported the acquisition of artwork for the Museum's collections.

CN8 News anchors Arthur Fennell and Connie Colla hosted the American Diabetes Association's Fourth Annual Red and White Night gala at The Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue on Saturday, February 12, 2005. Proceeds benefited the American Diabetes Association.

The Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals held a singles social on February 11th to benefit homeless animals. This years honorary co-chairpeople were Melissa Fitagerald of NBC's "The West Wing" and sportscasters Steve Martarano and Anthony Gargano.

5th Annual Philly Cooks Chef Competition! Guests tasted fabulous dishes from the area's top Chefs as they competed for Philly Cooks! Appetizer, Entree, Dessert, and Dish of the Year 2005. The tasting event proceeds benefit MANNA. Guests enjoyed great music, wine tastings, and sampled the season's hottest cocktails. The Teminal at Pier 1 rasied over $38,000 for MANNA.
