Welcome to the ultimate in home decor, furnishings and technology. In a period of a little over a year, two 3,500+ square foot flats have been transformed into multi-million dollar, luxurious, state-of-the art homes in a high-rise environment in the heart of Center City. After more than a year of designing and detailing, the doors to Philadelphia magazine's Design Home 2003 ™ - City Living at the Lanesborough are now open for a grand tour. Tickets are $25 and 100% of the proceeds benefit MANNA.

New Year's Eve 2003. We spent it at the National Constitution Center at the Glitter City Gala, along with about 1700 other people. Black tie optional made for many interesting interpretations of what "optional" meant – most were creative and fun. With five open bars, no one seemed to care that much anyway. Both floors of the Constitution Center were decked out and jam-packed, largely with a 23 to 35 year oldish crowd.

AIDS Fund Philadelphia held Broadway GayBINGO on Saturday, November 22nd at the Gershman Y, attracting a huge crowd to the popular HIV/AIDS fundraising event. GayBINGO's success is largely due to the combination of stage entertainment, prizes, and of course, the "Bingo Verifying Divas" (BVDs) on roller blades. Some of the memorable themes over the last seven years include Madonna-rama GayBINGO, Married to the Mob GayBINGO, and Superhero GayBINGO.

The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill hosted a home entertaining party with cooking demonstrations and decorating ideas on November 11th. Check out www.phillymag.com for more events like this one!

This year Philadelphia Cares' annual Turkey Ball was swankified and held at the Loew's Hotel's Millenium Ballroom. Fun band Cardiac Allstars got the crowd of nearly 300 on the dancefloor. Goodhearted guests brought canned donations to help the hungry, Penne Restaurant and Wine Bar generously donated the food – worth mentioning for their delicious gnocchi. Check out the organization at www.philacares.com.
