Part I... This is a recap of some memorable Philadelphia Magazine parties. One or two fun photos from each party that we promoted.
The seventh annual Star Chefs to benefit the March of Dimes was held at the Wyndham hotel on Monday, December 8th. Guest restaurants cooking stations lined the perimeter of the grand ballroom and happy munchers circled around tasting various concoctions once, twice, or more.
The kickoff party for the Army Navy weekend was held at the ballroom at the Convention Center on Friday, December 5th. Despite the miserable weather, the headcount numbered over 1500. Several women were seen by the coatcheck exchanging boots for their party shoes.
Welcome to the ultimate in home decor, furnishings and technology. In a period of a little over a year, two 3,500+ square foot flats have been transformed into multi-million dollar, luxurious, state-of-the art homes in a high-rise environment in the heart of Center City. After more than a year of designing and detailing, the doors to Philadelphia magazine's Design Home 2003 ™ - City Living at the Lanesborough are now open for a grand tour. Tickets are $25 and 100% of the proceeds benefit MANNA.
New Year's Eve 2003. We spent it at the National Constitution Center at the Glitter City Gala, along with about 1700 other people. Black tie optional made for many interesting interpretations of what "optional" meant – most were creative and fun. With five open bars, no one seemed to care that much anyway. Both floors of the Constitution Center were decked out and jam-packed, largely with a 23 to 35 year oldish crowd.
