On Thursday, November 17, 2011, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) Philadelphia hosted the Visionary Gala at Vie on North Broad Street. This was the third annual event honoring student entrepreneurs. Students attended the event's cocktail hour and we able to sell products from their businesses and network with other attendees. Michael G. Rubin, who was honored by NFTE for his accomplishments with the group, spoke with news anchor Tracy Davidson in a chat for a broadcast on NBC10.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, Philadelphia magazine and United Healthcare celebrated the culmination of the second annual Be Well Philly Office Challenge at Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge in Center City. The Advanced Audio Visual Sales team won the Challenge, losing nearly 220 pounds among the 10 team members. The teams then enjoyed a few friendly rounds of bowling to celebrate their accomplishments. On Tuesday, November 15, 2011, Magee Rehabilitation Hospital awarded Philadelphia Phillies Manager Charlie Manuel with their Humanitarian of the Year Award at the Four Seasons Hotel.
