The annual Arthur Ashe tennis center benefit was held at the center on Friday, April 23rd with a silent auction and a live auction later during dinner.

The Hermes boutique at the King of Prussia Plaza held a cocktail party fundraiser for the Woodlynde School at the boutique. Hermes was also celebrating the launch of their new perfume, Eau de Merveilles.

The Settlement Music School held their 96th annual gala, themed the Speakeasy Spectacular, on Saturday, April 17th at the Loew's Hotel. Settlement Music School is the largest community-based school of the arts in the country. It has seven area locations that serve over 8,000 students of all abilities without regard to age, race or financial circumstances. They award more than $1 million a year in financial aid to students in need.

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia held their annual Daisy Day luncheon on Wednesday, April 14th at the Bellevue Hotel. This year's fashion designer guest was Oscar de la Renta, every bit as debonair in person as he looks in our photo.

The Philadelphia Film Society's Film Festival opened on Thursday, April 8th with the screening of Shade at the Prince Music Theater. The star-studded cast includes Stuart Townsend, Gabriel Byrne, Thandie Newton, Jamie Foxx, Sylvester Stallone, and Melanie Griffith.
