In honor of their bipartisan efforts to fund disaster relief and recovery organizations in the U.S. and around the world, Presidents George H.W. Bush and William J. Clinton were awarded the 2006 Liberty Medal on Thursday, October 5th.
 
Project H.O.M.E. held a silent auction and reception on Thursday, October 26th, in the Great Hall of the University of the Arts. Proceeds will benefit the organization's mission to empower adults, children and families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
 
OutFest, Philadelphia's National Coming Out Day block party, was held on Sunday, October 8th. Sponsored by Philly Pride Presents, it's the city's second-biggest annual LGBT annual event and the largest NCOD event in the world.
 
Gilda's Club South Jersey, a local cancer-support network, held its second annual "Power Lunch at the Palm" on Friday, September 15th. Attendees enjoyed Palm specialties and helped to raise funds by bidding generously during the silent auction.
 
This year's annual fall event benefiting the Arboretum was held on Thursday, September 14th, at the Chestnut Hill home of Glen Senk and Keith Johnson of Anthropologie.
