On Wednesday August 8, 2012, wedding industry professionals gathered to celebrate the launch of Philadelphia Wedding’s Fall/Winter 2012 issue. Guests enjoyed delicious bites from The Radnor Hotel’s new chef Michael Luongo, while networking to the tunes of CTO Artists. On Tuesday, July 31, 2012, more than 250 local tastemakers and influencers joined UrbanDaddy and Samsung Mobile at the Liberty View Ballroom to celebrate the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note. Guests checked in to the invite-only affair using the Galaxy Note, and throughout the evening, guests explored the various functions of the device. Partygoers also enjoyed the “Picture Perfect Philly” signature cocktail featuring cucumber vodka, club soda, splash of lemon, garnished with cucumber slices, and hors d’oeuvres by Brulee Catering by Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix. On Wednesday, July 25, 2012, Philadelphia magazine and local VIPs joined for an intimate reception at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts to celebrate the 2012 Best of Philly® issue and the Ten Best Philadelphians. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, Peroni Nastro Azzurro beer, Tanqueray cocktails, and wine pairings courtesy of Constellation wines – Dreaming Tree, Ruffino, Estancia, and Diseño. The party also featured the newest Mercedes-Benz vehicles, a state-of-the-art video system from HiFi House, the La Colombe Torrefaction coffee truck, and music by the Joanna Pascale Quartet. On Monday, June 25, 2012, The Parkinson Council’s supporters gathered at The Philadelphia Cricket Club for The 13th Annual Parkinson Golf Classic, chaired by The Parkinson Council’s board member Barry R. Milberg. With 268 in attendance, this year’s Parkinson Golf Classic raised $282,085 to support local nonprofits focused on research, education, outreach and services that improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s, their families and caregivers living in our region.
