On September 8th Saks Fifth Avenue and Project H.O.M.E held this wild event, which featured poker, roulette, blackjack and a fashion show. Great food, drinks and outrageous prizes set the stage for this unforgettable evening. Proceeds from the event benefited Project H.O.M.E and its Honickman Learning Center and Comcast Technology Labs.

The Philadelphia Orchestra opened its 2005-2006 season on September 21st, with an Opening Night Gala at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and broadcasted the concert for the public outside of the Kimmel Center on Broad Street. Music Director Christoph Eschenbach conducted the Orchestra in the first concert of the Orchestra’s 106th season, joined by Philadelphia’s own, pianist Andre Watts.

On September 30th, River Rendezvous at the Waterworks held a Parisianthemed Black Tie Benefit of dinner and dancing for supporters ofWoman's Way.
Woman's Way is a Philadelphia based women's funding federation which serves the needs of women and their families.
