Award winning Savona Restaurant of Gulph Mills, also a multi-year winner of Best of Philly awards, and Veuve Clicquot teamed up to present a seven-course tasting menu replete with such sumptuous choices as; pan-seared foie gras with black mission figs; Thai ginger poached Maine lobster; and veal sweetbreads with porcini mushrooms and Parmesan-thyme tuilles. Each course was accompanied by a different vintage of Veuve Clicquot – 88 and 95 reserves, the 95 Grande Dame, and the 95 and 96 roses, the former a Grande Dame as well.

AIDS Fund Philadelphia held Broadway GayBINGO on Saturday, November 22nd at the Gershman Y, attracting a huge crowd to the popular HIV/AIDS fundraising event. GayBINGO's success is largely due to the combination of stage entertainment, prizes, and of course, the "Bingo Verifying Divas" (BVDs) on roller blades. Some of the memorable themes over the last seven years include Madonna-rama GayBINGO, Married to the Mob GayBINGO, and Superhero GayBINGO.
