Philadelphia star offensive lineman, Todd Herremans, hosted an anti-bullying fundraiser called "Don't Mess with Todd" to benefit No Place for Hate® on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at The Waterfront at SugarHouse Casino. The night brought in $4,000 for the No Place for Hate® program, which promotes respect for individual and group differences and challenges bigotry. Several local celebrities made appearances during the night including Jamaal Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Trevor Laws, Donovan McNabb and more. Philadelphia Wedding and special occasion businesses came together on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 for "It's a Date" at The Franklin Institute. Attendees enjoyed cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and live music. The event was co-hosted by The Franklin Institute, Frog Commissary Catering and Eventricity. Guests celebrated the summer solstice with a kickoff to the 12th annual Parkinson Golf Classic on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Table 31 at The Comcast Center. Karen Jacobson and Barry Milberg, chairs of the Classic this year, played hosts for the night. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres were sampled while attendees participated in a live auction. Some of the bidding items included a dinner for 10 at Osteria, a VIP package and tickets to the Earth, Wind & Fire concert at the Borgata and a McIntosh sound system. Mummies and various artifacts from Asia, Oceania, South America, Europe and Egypt were the main attraction for attendees of the Mummies of the World Exhibition Premiere Party on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Franklin Institute. Rittenhouse Square dazzled on Thursday, June 16, 2011 for the 2011 Ball on the Square, benefiting The Friends of Rittenhouse Square.
