Philadelphia Magazine's Volunteer of the year, Willard Rouse, was presented with a gorgeous bronze statue in recognition of his generous works. Last year's Volunteer of the Year, Anne Hamilton, was there to cheer him on with the rest of the guests at the Ritz Carlton's ballroom.

Wednesday, January 8th, The American Jewish Committee's 2003 Civic Achievement Award was presented to PECO President Kenneth G. Lawrence at the Westin Philadelphia. The AJC is a civil rights and human relations organization that, for nearly 100 years, has advocated advancing democracy, pluralism and mutual understanding of different cultures.

As expected, the annual Hair O The Dog party was a smashing success. Held at Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park on January 4th, the event attracted nearly 4,000 revelers, decked out in their finest, drawn by the awesome bands, open bar, and promise of a couple thousand members of the opposite sex!
