Sandra Bernhard was given the festival's Artistic Achievement award at the Wilma Theater on Friday, July 14th. Chloë Sevigny made a guest appearance at the Prince on Saturday the 15th to introduce her latest film, 3 Needles.

On June 8th, the Philadelphia Zoo's 32nd annual Zoobilee, benefiting the zoo's 1,500 animals and its award-winning Junior Zoo Apprentice Program, celebrated the opening of the fabulous Big Cat Falls habitat.

The Morris Arboretum offered an enchanted evening on Friday, June 9th, as it celebrated 25 years of its annual Moonlight & Roses annual fundraising gala. The Haas family was honored for more than 30 years of support for the arboretum.

Guests plied the links at Green Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill on June 19th for this 11th annual outing. Since its inception in 1996, the event has raised more than $1 million for brain tumor research.

The Friends of Rittenhouse Sqaure held its annual Ball on the Square fundraiser on Thursday, June 15th. Proceeds fund the group's continuing park preservation and beautification efforts.
