On Thursday, April 26, 2012, approximately 500 guests gathered at the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia for the annual Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival Preview Party honoring Center City District’s Paul Levy. Guests enjoyed delectable cuisine from Rittenhouse Row’s top restaurants, specialty cocktails featuring Captain Morgan® Black Spiced Rum, Chairman’s Selection™ wines and Peroni beer. On Wednesday, April 25, 2012, G Philly and Smirnoff® hosted a Singles Happy Hour at Stir Lounge. Guests mingled with the city’s hottest LGBT singles, including those featured in the spring 2012 issue of G Philly, while enjoying cocktails featuring Smirnoff. Photography by Ryan Lavine
 
On April 21 and 22, 2012, Philadelphia magazine partnered with select luxury residences for sale and rent throughout the region to offer complimentary tours. Guests visited the various properties to explore impressive amenities and speak with experts while enjoying drinks, hors d’oeuvres and desserts. On Saturday, April 14, 2012, friends, families, and supporters of SPIN participated in SPIN’s 1st Annual Possibilities in the Park 5K sponsored by Independence Blue Cross. 5K and One-Mile participants ran, walked, or rolled through SPIN’s Northeast Philadelphia campus and surrounding neighborhood to create possibilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and autism. Participants crossed the finish line and then joined SPIN for a family-friendly festival full of freebies, fun and games with event sponsors PhillyHealthWatch.com, Skinny Water, MIX 106.1 FM, and Academy Injury and Health Center. On Thursday, April 12, 2012, the winners of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year were announced at the Union League of Philadelphia. The Grand Finale was a celebration of all twelve candidates' collective efforts as they enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions, dinner and dancing. Over the last 10 weeks, the candidates collectively raised $409,000; Anthony Falco of West Chester earned the title of Man of the Year and Dawn Scardino of Philadelphia claimed the title of Woman of the Year. Money raised from Man & Woman of the Year will be used to cure blood cancers and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
