Party Pics: Philadelphia Fashion Incubator at Macy's Center City

On Thursday, March 1, 2012, more than 75 people gathered at Macy’s Center City Grand Court for the official launch of the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator at Macy’s Center City designer-in-residence program. Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter, Terry Lundgren, Macy’s Inc. Chairman, President and CEO, and Paul Levy, Center City District President and CEO, revealed the inaugural class of the five selected emerging Philadelphia-area designers that will be provided the tools and resources needed to launch a successful fashion design company in Philadelphia. After a private ribbon-cutting ceremony, the selected designers joined family, friends and supporters for a reception complete with light bites, refreshments and organ music.
