Legion of Honor Award Ceremony

On Tuesday September 13, 2011, H.F. (Gerry) Lenfest was awarded the prestigious Insignia of Officer of the Legion of Honor. His Excellency, Ambassador of France to the United States, Francois Delattre presented this award to him at the ceremony held at The American Revolution Center in Old City. The Ambassador, Mr. Lenfest and Edward G. Rendell all made remarks at the event. The award was originally founded by Napoleon Bonaparte in recognition of outstanding military and civil achievements.
