Hamels Foundation Annual Diamonds and Denim Event

On Thursday, August 11, 2011, a celebrity-packed party filled the Crystal Tea Room i the Wanamaker Building for the Hamels Foundation Annual Diamonds and Denim Event, hosted by Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels and his wife Heidi. Proceeds provide grants for Philadelphia's inner-city public schools and support the Foundation's primary school in Malawi. This year's event brought out local and nation celebrities including members of the Phillies, Grammy winner Martina McBride, reality TV stars from The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, The Bachelor Pad and Survivor, and former Eagle Vince Papale.
