Bastille Day Celebration

The annual Bastille Day Celebration of the Alliance Francaise de Philadelphie was celebrated on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the Independence Seaport Museum. The Ambassador of the Arts Awards was given this year to Anne Ewers, the President and CEO of the Kimmel Center. Ewers was celebrated in recognition of her efforts with the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, which was a three-week event focused on France. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, dinner, music and dancing, as well as a silent auction and an opportunity to receive two round-trip tickets to Paris through the raffle.
