Hamilton Family Children's Zoo & Education Center

The Philadelphia Zoo celebrated over the new Hamilton Family Children's Zoo & Education Center, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2013. This event, which took place on Friday, June 3, 2011, honored leadership donor, Dorrance Hamilton and her family. The new facility will be the zoo's first LEED-certified building, and its programming will be geared toward children from ages 2 to 13. With an indoor space, the children's exhibit will allow for year-round enjoyment.
