Write On! A Celebration of Student Voices Annual Benefit

Philadelphia Young Playwrights held its annual benefit, Write On! A Celebration of Student Voices, on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at World Cafe Live. Attendees enjoyed a cocktail reception before the awards ceremony and live performances of plays and monologues written by the 2010 winners of the Young Playwrights' Annual Playwriting Festival. Mayor Michael Nutter was present along with Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown, and many students, teachers, playwrights and community leaders.
