Comedy for a Cause

Bill Cosby hosted a comedy event at the Temple Performing Arts Center on Temple University's Main Campus on Thursday, May 5, 2011, which benefited the Community Partnership School. CPS is a pre-kindergarten to fifth grade school for young children from underserved communities. CPS awarded author Charles L. Blockson with the Excellence and Education award for his teachings of African-American history. Philadelphia Financial presented the night with a cocktail reception, followed by a comedy event that featured Bill Cosby, Gary Culman and Ralph Harris. Photography by Jeff Fusco.
