PIFA Opening Night Gala

On April 7, 2011, guests celebrating the Philadelphia International Arts Festival experienced the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Pennsylvania Ballet on stage together in a newly choreographed performance of Stravinsky's Pulcinella. They also enjoyed dinner by Wolfgang Puck in honor of Chef Georges Perrier, featuring a pre-dessert performance by Grounded Aerial. The evening also included the first lighting of the Eiffel Tower.
