G Philly Launch Party

On Thursday, March 3, 2011, Philadelphia magazine celebrated the launch of its new LGBT publication, G Philly—Your Guide to Gay Philadelphia and the Suburbs. More than 200 guests gathered at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel for the unveiling of the premiere issue, supported by sponsors Wells Fargo, PECO, Smirnoff and Coors Light. Guests indulged in cocktails and hors d'œuvres as they enjoyed beats by DJ Jon Gill and were treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming event, Dragapalooza: Broadway Divas. GPhilly features the best 112 places to eat, shop, stay and play in the region and boasts its own website (G-Philly.com), a dedicated blog, social media community on Facebook and Twitter and GPhilly-sponsored events.
