Saks Fifth Avenue Benefit for Philadelphia Academies, Inc.

On October 1st, Saks Fifth Avenue hosted a benefit luncheon, fashion presentation and special shopping event to support the work of non-profit youth development organization Philadelphia Academies, Inc. Under the leadership of Lisa Johnson Nutter, Philadelphia Academies, Inc. serves 4,500 youth in Philadelphia public high schools, providing career-based learning, college readiness supports and positive adult networks to prepare young people for success in college and in careers. Saks contributed five percent of sale proceeds from the shopping event to programming, internship preparation and industry pipeline initiatives for Philadelphia Academies, Inc. students.
