Gayborhood Block Party

On Sunday, July 11th, the public filled the streets for a Block Party to celebrate 40 Years of Philadelphia's vibrant Gayborhood. This event was part of a two-week celebration dubbed “There’s No Place Like Home,” which included a ribbon cutting ceremony, QFest, colorful photo exhibits and special offers throughout the city. During the event, guests sampled the refreshing Finlandia Crush, participated in several games as part of the Wachovia's "Get Hands On" activity center, and even had a chance to dunk Mr. Gay Philadelphia in the dunk tank.
