Rosenbacchanal

On Thursday, May 6, 2010 Philadelphia’s Rosenbach Museum & Library held the Rosenbacchanal, the museum’s 22nd Annual Gala at one of Philadelphia’s landmark venues – Urban Outfitters’ headquarters at The Navy Yard. Urban Outfitters creative hub is a space that integrates industrial artifacts with natural elements, such as koi ponds, bamboo plantings, and folk art from the Far East. Among friends and distinguished guests, Rosenbacchanal attendees enjoyed live jazz music, a cocktail hour and wine tasting, an elegant dinner, and a private performance by Philadelphia favorite Headlong Dance Theater. All proceeds from the event support the Rosenbach’s innovative exhibitions and programs in addition to the museum's educational outreach which engages thousands of children in Philadelphia schools each year.
