The Academy of Vocal Arts 75th Anniversary

On Wednesday, March 31, 2010, the Academy of Vocal Arts Celebrated its 75th Anniversary with BrAVA Philadelphia at the Hyatt at the Bellevue and the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts. Guests enjoyed dinner and a Concert ExtrAVAganza of Opera Stars, including AVA star alumni and resident artists Joyce DiDonato, Eglise Gutiérrez, Angela Meade, Latonia Moore, Ailyn Pérez, Stephen Costello, Michael Fabiano, James Valenti, Bass Burak Bilgili, and baritone Luis Ledesma, as well as the current roster of AVA resident artists, and Christofer Macatsoris, who conducted the AVA Opera Orchestra.
