Step Into Saks

On Wednesday, March 10, 2010, Steppingstone Scholars hosted the annual "Step onto Saks" event at Saks Fifth Avenue in Bala Cynwyd. The event was chaired by Jamie and David Field and Wanda and Patrick Paul, and honored long-time supporter Lincoln Financial Group and its President and Chief Executive Officer, Dennis Glass. Guests enjoyed champagne, dessert, and live entertainment from the Baldwin School B-Flats, the William Penn Charter School Quakers Dozen, and the Friends Central Jazz Ensemble. All proceeds from ticket sales and 5 percent of proceeds from merchandise sales benefited Steppingstone Scholars, Inc., a Philadelphia-based, nonprofit organization that develops and implements programs that prepare underserved schoolchildren for college.
