Sixth-Annual Philadelphia Whiskey Festival

On Thursday, November 12, 2009, Philadelphia magazine and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board presented the Sixth-Annual Philadelphia Whiskey Festival, sponsored by Melitta and KYW. The event took place at The Union League of Philadelphia, where guests sampled a collection of premium whiskies and other fine spirits while enjoying tasty bites from The Capital Grille, Village Whiskey, The Palm Restaurant, and Tavern on Broad. The evening also featured a meet and greet with Fred Noe, the great grandson of Jim Beam, and a Melitta Coffee Lounge and a Cigar Bar featuring Holt’s cigars.
