The 2009 Visionary Woman Awards

On Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at the Moore College of Art & Design Nancy Kolb and Billie Tsien were honored with The 2009 Visionary Woman Award. Nancy Kolb, president and CEO of the Please Touch Museum, was honored for her work on restoring historic Memorial Hall. Billie Tsien was honored for her work as one of the architects of the new Barnes on the Parkway. Since 2003, the Visionary Woman Awards has become a widely recognized event that honors women whose work and leadership have had a powerful influence on the visual arts.
