The Hamels Foundation's First-Annual Carnival Fundraising Event

On Monday, May 11, 2009, Phillies’ pitcher Cole Hamels and wife Heidi Hamels hosted a carnival at the Carousel House Memorial Hall in the Please Touch Museum in Fairmount Park. The proceeds benefited their foundation, which aims to encourage and support community values and education in Philadelphia inner-city schools and also in in Malawi, Africa. Photography by Jeff Fusco.
