The Curtis Institute of Music's Curtis Cabaret Benefit
On Sunday, March 2, 2008, The Curtis Institute of Music hosted Curtis Cabaret, an evening of jazz, musical theater and bluegrass performed by young musicians studying at Curtis. The evening began with cocktails and dinner at the Prime Rib or a reception at the Rittenhouse Square home of Edith "Bonnie" Barnes. Both groups then gathered at The Curtis Institute of Music to enjoy cabaret performances on the stage of Field Concert Hall. Proceeds benefited the Curtis Student Assistance Fund, which provides financial support for students' living expenses. Photography by Jean E. Brubaker
