Young Friends of the Philadelphia Museum of Art Winter Gala

On Saturday, February 23, 2008, the Young Friends of the Philadelphia Museum of Art held its 55th Annual Winter Gala at the museum. Inspired by the Museum’s Frida Kahlo exhibit, the gala celebrated the art, culture and cuisine of Latin America. About 500 guests enjoyed dancing, Latin-inspired food, and a raffle and auction as they browsed the Frida Kahlo exhibition. Proceeds from the gala will help the Young Friends acquire works of art for the Museum’s permanent collection. Photography by Matt Cianfrani
