Philadelphia Museum of Art 125th Anniversary Gala

The Philadelphia Museum of Art's trustees, and the Women's Committee hosted a gala evening to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Museum on Thursday, May 10th , a balmy and clear spring night. Before the period costume show on the Great Staircase and cocktails, guests were greeted by trumpeteers at the West Door upon arrival. After smiling and kiss-kissing through the receiving line, the art-loving patrons proceeded to dinner, followed by dessert, dancing to the Hank Lane Orchestra, and fireworks later in the evening.
