The Philadelphia Orchestra kicked off its new season on Wednesday, September 17th, celebrating their new conductor, Christoph Eschenbach, with a black-tie gala dinner and concert featuring classical cellist Yo Yo Ma. As always, the Kimmel Center threw an elegant cocktail hour in the open ground floor. Restaurant Associates served up their usual high-brow yet crowd-pleasing fare at tables adorned with branchy floral arrangements in square vases done by Evantine Designs.
