Ball on the Square 2004

The Friends of Rittenhouse Square held their annual ball (that's the Ball on the Square, not the Square Ball) on Thursday, June 17th, a swelteringly hot night. Not to worry though, the tent in the middle of Rittenhouse Park was well air-conditioned. (For $700 per couple you bet it was.) Next time you walk through the park, note the beautiful flowers, lush grass, and numerous benches - proceeds from the ball go towards upkeep of the most popular park in Center City.
